Follows your chart

Does it work on Mac?: Yes. It works the same way on MetaTrader 5 for Windows and MetaTrader 5 for Mac.
Why does MT5 need URLs allowed?: The card loads the news calendar and your presets over the internet. MT5 only allows web requests to the URLs you list under Tools > Options > Expert Advisors.
Does it place or close trades?: No. It is display only. You stay in control of every trade.

1Download QuarkFX_MT5.ex5 with the button below.
2In MT5 open File > Open Data Folder > MQL5 > Experts and paste the file there. Right-click Expert Advisors in the Navigator and choose Refresh.
3Open Tools > Options > Expert Advisors, tick "Allow WebRequest for listed URL" and add the two URLs below. The third one is an optional backup.
4Drag QuarkFX onto any chart and paste your license key in the Inputs tab.
5Your saved accounts load by themselves. The timer follows the chart symbol.

Save your prop firm account
Click New Preset and pick your prop firm from the list of supported firms. Then choose your challenge type, your model or plan and whether the account is in evaluation or funded. Save it once, and News Shield loads that firm’s news rule for you.
