Privacy Policy
QuarkFX keeps as little about you as it can. This policy explains what we collect when you use the website, the News Shield web app and the QuarkFX clients, why we need it and what you can do about it.
01What we never collect
- Your broker login, investor password or prop firm account details.
- Your trades, orders, balance, equity or open positions.
- Your card number. Payments are handled by Dodo Payments; we only see the result.
02What we collect
- Account details: your email, your name, your country, the avatar you pick, a referral code if you enter one, and whether you agreed to email updates.
- If you sign in with Google: your name and email from your Google account.
- License and plan: your license key, your trial and pass days, and a log of key resets.
- Purchases: the pass, the amount, the currency, the date and the Dodo Payments reference. No card details.
- Presets: the prop firms and account types you save, and your pinned slots, so they sync across platforms.
- Connected apps: a random id for each app or browser, the app type and when it last connected, to keep one key to 5 devices. No account number, broker, device name or IP address is stored with it, and a session stops counting after about 20 minutes without activity.
03Stored only on your device
Your alert sound, time zone, clock format, theme and favourite pairs are saved in your browser or client and are not sent to us.
04Why we use it
- To create your account, sign you in and keep it secure.
- To run the trial and passes, and to unlock News Shield on your platforms.
- To keep your presets the same on every platform.
- To answer your support requests and prevent abuse, such as repeated trials or shared keys.
- To send account emails, such as sign-in links and key reset codes. Product update emails are sent only if you agreed to them, and every one has a way to stop them.
05Who processes your data
We do not sell your data and do not share it for advertising.
- Supabase: our database and sign-in provider.
- Dodo Payments: payment processing, as the merchant of record. Their own privacy policy applies to the payment details you give them.
- Google: only if you choose to sign in with Google.
- An email provider: to deliver account and update emails.
- jsDelivr and GitHub: your browser or client downloads the public news calendar from them. Like any website, they can see the IP address of the request.
07How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account exists. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete its data, except purchase records we must keep for tax and accounting.
08Your choices and rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Email us from the address on your account. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under local law, and you can complain to your data protection authority.
09Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections, and access to the database is limited by row-level security, so each account can only read its own data.
10Children
The service is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the last change, and we will tell you about significant changes by email or in the app.
