01What QuarkFX is

QuarkFX makes Prop Firm News Shield, an information tool that shows a countdown to high-impact news and to the news restriction of the prop firm and account type you choose. It also offers a free Economic Calendar.

QuarkFX is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any prop firm, broker, MetaQuotes, Spotware, TradingView or Google.

02Information only, not financial advice

• News times come from public calendars (Forex Factory and Myfxbook) and can be incomplete, delayed, moved or wrong.
• Prop firm rules change. The rules in the app are our reading of each firm’s published terms and can be out of date or incomplete.
• Always check your firm’s current rules yourself. You alone are responsible for your trades, your positions and following your firm’s rules.
• Nothing in the service is financial, investment or trading advice. Trading CFDs and leveraged products carries a high risk of loss.
• The service never places, closes or changes trades, and never connects to your broker or prop firm account.

03Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• Give accurate details and keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person, one account. Creating extra accounts to get more free trials is not allowed.

04The free trial

Each account can start one 7-day free trial, only if it never had Pro access before. The trial starts when you click Start Free Trial, not when you sign up. No card is needed, and it ends on its own.

05Passes and payments

• Passes (Starter, Pro and Annual) are one-time payments for a fixed number of days of Pro access. They are not subscriptions and never renew.
• If you buy a pass while you still have Pro days left, the new days are added to the end of the days you have.
• Prices are shown in US dollars. Launch prices apply for a limited time and can change for future purchases. A change never affects a pass you already bought.
• Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record and handles the payment and any sales tax. Your card statement shows DODOPAY_QUARKFX.
• Every pass has a 7-day money back guarantee: ask within 7 days of buying, for any reason, and you get a full refund. After 7 days, passes are final. The Refund Policy has the details.

06Your license key

• Each account gets one license key. It unlocks News Shield on every QuarkFX platform.
• The key is for your own use, on up to 5 devices at the same time. Do not share, sell or publish it.
• You can reset the key in Settings > Subscription once every 24 hours and up to 3 times in 30 days. Every platform then needs the new key.
• We may disable a key that is shared, resold or used in a way that breaks these terms.

07Acceptable use

Do not:

• Copy, resell or redistribute the service, its data or its prop firm rules.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the QuarkFX clients, except where the law allows it.
• Scrape the service, overload it or try to get around the trial, the device limit or the key reset limits.
• Use the service for anything unlawful.

08Changes and availability

We keep improving the service, so features can change. We aim to keep it running at all times, but it relies on the internet, third-party calendars and hosting providers, and it can be unavailable or show wrong data. Do not rely on it as your only safeguard.

09Ending your use

You can stop using the service at any time. To delete your account and its data, email us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Days left on a pass are not refunded when an account is closed for breaking these terms.

10Our responsibility

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, QuarkFX is not liable for trading losses, breached or closed prop firm accounts, refused payouts, removed profit, or any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

11Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the last change. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app before it applies. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
