Do I need a TradingView paid plan?: No. The timer is added by the Chrome extension, so it works on any TradingView plan.
Is it a Pine Script indicator?: No. It is drawn by the extension on top of the chart, so it does not use one of your indicator slots.
Does it work in the TradingView desktop app?: No. It runs on tradingview.com in a Chromium browser.

Click New Preset and pick your prop firm from the list of supported firms. Then choose your challenge type, your model or plan and whether the account is in evaluation or funded. Save it once, and News Shield loads that firm’s news rule for you.
